Awoken one night by a shadowy stranger, Tommy’s life begins to crumble as the stranger’s hurtful words become harder to ignore. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel, if Tommy finds the courage to speak out.

Tommy Sees the Shadow is an illustrated short story written as a means to introduce children to the topic of mental health, specifically psychosis and schizophrenia. It can also be enjoyed by people of all ages who would like a simplified understanding of what it is like to suddenly hear and see things that are not there.
